A Personalized Approach to Better Health
Functional Medicine assesses the whole person to better understand the root cause of health concerns, rather than just treating symptoms. Extended appointments, advanced diagnostic testing, nutrition and lifestyle recommendations, and evidence-informed treatment strategies support a personalized approach to enhance your health.
Functional medicine can help Individuals whose concerns haven’t been fully resolved through conventional care, including:
Chronic illnesses
such as irritable bowel disease, thyroid conditions, hormonal imbalances and autoimmune diseases
Unexplained symptoms
such as fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, weight gain or loss, and skin rashes
Longevity
to optimize energy, sleep, recovery, and performance
Two Programs
We offer two functional medicine programs designed to meet your unique needs. Both provide personalized, physician-guided care, focused on enhancing your health. The difference is the depth of evaluation and ongoing medical care.
Optimize Program
Ideal for individuals in good health who want to proactively understand and optimize their wellness.
A focused approach to optimizing energy, sleep, recovery, performance and healthy aging through targeted evaluation and personalized recommendations. Does not include prescribing, adjusting, monitoring, or discontinuing medications as part of your treatment plan.
Personalized laboratory testing may include more advanced blood and urine testing for deeper insight into your health.
Comprehensive Program
Ideal for individuals with complex or persistent health concerns that have not been fully resolved despite standard care.
A deep evaluation of your health history, symptoms, and interconnected concerns, with more advanced diagnostic testing and time with the physician. Includes a review of current medications and recommendations for medication changes as needed.
Personalized laboratory and specialty testing may include more than 30 tests, such as advanced blood and urine testing, gut microbiome analysis, breath testing and food sensitivity testing. These tests can provide a more comprehensive view of your health and may reveal patterns and opportunities to address unresolved health concerns.
